Bill C-332 - Coercive Control Update

Bill C-332 an act to amend the Criminal Code in Canada to include coercive control passed the second reading in the Senate last week and is now at consideration for committee.

Every step forward moves us closer to criminalizing coercive control - following the UK, Australia, Hawaii, and France.

Those of us who have lived under coercive control know the harm and damage it does to a person.

This is an important step forward in holding abusers to account.
