Had conversations about changing Family Law in cases of Domestic Violence with the Minister of Justice, his Chief of Staff, and the Minister of Children and Family Services and his Chief of Staff
Followed up with both Minister’s offices as per their request and got responses from both departments and their steps moving forward

Continued to watch and support Bill C-332 to make Coercive Control a Criminal Code offence in Canada - It is currently in the second reading in the Senate
We can break patterns of abuse by healing and helping each other. We can normalize conversations about abuse and share stories to help others learn and recognize signs of abuse. We can hold abusers to account by criminalizing coercive control and changing Family Court.
